On July 16th, 2004 the State Dept. announced that they will no longer
accept visas for renewals. As such, Visa holders in the US who wish
to renew their visa will now be expected to return to their home
country or a Third country if permissible. Both Mexico and Canada
have indicated that they will accept third country national Visa
holders for renewals.
